My unit only has access through the display panel. There are 2 screws behind the drip tray that hold the Panel on. After removing found that a family of carpenter Ants had made their home inside. After cleaning it is still the Same. Water but no ice. Do I need everything inside replaced or how do I check board and motor?

Hi.
Sorry, we where talking about different motors. I meant the auger motor and you where talking about the ice door motor.
When you are depressing the ice dispenser pad is there any sound?

We are talking about the auger motor and it is also behind the display There is NO access form the inside as many have posted. The correct Answer is to remove the 2 screws and everything is inside. You still have to remove the screws inside to remove the hex drive so you can take out the motor. Pass this along as many have had the wrong info.

Hi.
Thank you for the input. It will be very useful for the other inquiries. There are very few models as yours on the market.
Thank you.
