When doors close the overhead interior lights do not shut off until the exceed the overload switch. After cooling they come back on until overheating again. It has melted the cover over the lights. I have removed the lights so the compartment is dark all the time. Everything else works fine.

Hi.

Please locate the door switch in the upper left corner.

The door switch Part number: AP4441529
Part number: AP4441529

Push it in and see if the light will turn off. If not - replace the door switch. If the switch is OK then adjust the door hinge, so the door will engage the switch when closed.

Her are the breakdown diagram and Section 1 replacement parts for LG LFC25760ST Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.com
