I blew up the motor in the ice dispenser. There was no ice in the compartment and I continued to push the ice button. There was a noise and a smell immediatley. It has been 5 days and I have dumped the ice several times. I have taken the coil from the ice compartment. The refrigerator still makes ice, I just can't use the ice dispenser from the outside. I am concerned of the smell. I am unsure if there is some sort of chemical that was released or chemical in the ice now due to the smell still in the refrigerator, freezer and ice after dumped 5 times. Please let me know, if my family is in any harm.
