My freezer will often ice completely over. I'll defrost it, and then I will get water under the refrigerator a few days to a week later, maybe a couple of times in occurance. Then a few days to a week later, the freezer will be a block of ice, with of course no cooling in the fridge. How do I test and what do I test to find out what's wrong?

Hello Perry. Sounds like an adaptive defrost control failing. It could be the defrost thermostat, but this model normally has the relay lose continuity on the defrost control. I hope this was useful. Have a great day!
