the freezer seems to work fine, the refridgerator works relatively good , although i would like to have it go a little colder. the main problem I have is that from time to time it makes alot of noise, like the sound of a motor bearing or fan rubbing some where. if i open the freezer door the noise stops until the door is closed again. sometimes if you open the freezer door a few minutes you can close the door and the noise will stop. sometimes it doesnt do it for weeks at a time. when it does make the noise it is really loud. what does this sound like??? Is it something I could fix myself???

Sounds like the evaporator fan in the freezer is making the noise and needs to be replaced.
