just replaced icemaker how long does it take to fill with water? does it fill immediately or does the ice maker have to cycle?

You don't state how much time elapsed, but they can take awhile to fill. A thermostat inside the IM has to become satisfied before the IM will go through a harvest mode and fill itself.

It Has Not Been But A Very Short Time I Thought That Once You Plugged It In You Could Feel Water Starting To Run In. Thank You For Your Quick Responce!
