Model Number: RT18BKXKQ03 Brand: Roper Age: 1 - 5 years
One of my tenants placed a hot pan in the freezer. It melted the plastic liner, thereby exposing the styrofoam insulation underneath. How can I patch this. If epoxy or tape is suggested, please be specific. Most epoxies I've looked at don't appear as though they would stick to that type of plastic, and the tape I've seen appears very thin and the hot pan created a very bumpy surface. Please see attached photo. Thank-you very much!

Thank-you for the quick response! I'm not concerned with appearance, just functionality. I'm worried if I don't protect the exposed styrofoam, there will be problems. Isn't there some type of epoxy, or something I can cover the holes with and then spray paint that with white "plastic" paint?

Are you sure it's called "cement", or is it white RTV silicone rubber that gets hard like cement when it cures? I searched using the word cement and didn't get much. Dow has many RTV silicone rubbers. Is there one in particular that I can buy at Lowe's or Home Depot? Thanks!
