Ice maker wasn't working. We replaced it. A lot of the ice cubes are hollow. Water freezes in the bottom of the dispenser unit not allowing ice cubes to be dispensed. Basically, it isn't working correctly.
What can we do to troubleshoot the problems?
Thank you.

The tube that delivers water to the icemaker may be clogged with ice. If so, remove the tube and get all the ice out and replace your water valve. Whirlpool Icemaker Repair Guide
