We have water to the bottom of the freezer door but no water dispenses when the spout is pushed. What causes this and how can it be fixed?

Locate the water inlet valve on the back of the refrigerator. Remove the wires from the water dispenser solenoid (5/16" tube) and check for 120 VAC between these wires while the dispenser on the door calls for water.

Post the results.
