Compressor comes on but the condenser fan does not. Fan checks out when energized externally. What part is defective?

Hello. If your compressor is coming on ? the Part number: AP4318657
Part number: AP4318657
is fed off of the same line ,I would check for a broken red wire inbetween the compressor or you have a bad fan Thank you and good luck !
