Angry my fridge keeps tripping switch in fuse box
Model Number: ?   Brand: Admiral   Age: 5 - 10 years   

IZ E="2"] [/size] My fridge will be working ok. could be for an hour, could be for a couple of minutes, then it will trip the clipsal switch in the fuse box. any ideas what could be the cause of it shorting out?

Is it plugged into a dedicated line? meaning no other appliance or anything else is on this same circuit. If it is on a dedicated circuit it could be that the motor or compressor is going bad or else there is a short somewhere. To find this out you will need a meter and be able to do some testing
