I purchased a water valve kit 67003753 and installed it and replaced the icemaker. No water to icemaker. The instruction sheet that came with the water valve lists item #6 "Remove spring insert and coupler nut from the outlet at the valve, which goes to Icemaker and discard" This instruction makes no sense to me, I saw not spring anywhere. After explaining this instruction do you have any other trouble shooting instructions. I did open the little in line valve before doing anything to make sure water flowed, it did.

The Spring Being Referred To May Also Be Called A Sleeve Or An Insert. Either Way, The Line Needs To Be Cut Off And Simply Inserted Into The New Style Water Valve Discarding The Old End Pieces. Most Likely Your Unit Did Not Cycle On Its Own, Or There Was Air In The Line And May Need To Be Manually Cycled.the Easiest Way For You To Do This, Would Be To Fill The Icemaker With Water Using A Container. It Will Freeze In A Couple Of Hours, Activating The Process On Its Own. Make Sure You Did Transfer The Shut Off Arm From Your Old Unit To The New One And That It Is The Down Position( Down Is On).
