Model Number: TFX25PRBA BB Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
Greetings,
The freezer compartment on my refrigerator seems a bit warm (frozen juices / ice creams are mushy). The ice maker continues to make ice, but the ice seems to be not as frozen and dry as it usually is. We first notice the problem a few weeks ago, and I promptly cleaned underneath and behind the rear panel (both areas were quite dirty). That seemed to fix the problem until last night. I had a repair technician out today, and he did verify that all the fans were working, manually moved the defrost timer to get it out of defrost mode (which it was in when he arrived). He checked temp on the fridge side, and it was 39F. He did not, however, do anything to fix the problem. He seemed to think everything was fine (even though I showed him how mushy an ice cream bar was). Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks! |
