Frost / Ice Accumulation
Model Number: TFX25PPBCBB Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
[FONT='Verdana','sans-serif']Hi, I have a GE TFX25PPBC S/S that leaks water in front of the freezer door. Ice also accumulates on the bottom of the freezer. After some research, I cleared the ice of the bottom and cleaned the drain hole on the bottom of the freezer. Time will tell if this is a fix. The other problem I have is that there is frost buildup all around the ice dispenser on the door. This can eventually obstruct the ice from dispensing. I have two questions: 1) Did I perform the proper procedure for solving the ice on the bottom of the freezer? [/font]

The frost accumulating at the ice chute indicates warm air is entering (through the flapper seal). This seal should be replaced.
