My refridgerator started a loud buzzing sound today that lasted about 5 minutes. It sounded as if it were coming from the main water lines located at the back top right corner (if you were facing refridgerator from the front). We even pulled the electricity from the refridgerator thinking it was the motor, but the sound continued until we shut off the water. Now the loud, buzzing sound is gone, but their is a slight hummmmm coming from the refridgerator. Can anyone suggest what might be happening and hopefully, an easy repair.

Is that noise coming from inside of the refrigerator or outside of it? Sounds like this is a plumbing problem.

Gene.
