When the lever is activated, the auger motor runs fine, but the bottom coupler does not turn. What parts do I need to fix the problem and is it something I can do myself?

Got into it further---the shaft that goes into the motor is not turning even though the motor seems to run fine when the lever is activated. It appears as if the motor gear might be stripped.

Do I need to replace the whole motor?

Thanks
