Kenmore freezer on,not cooling?

Our Kenmore freezer was turner off for a while.When I went to restart it,I plugged it back in and checked it the next day,freezer on but it will not get cold? What can I check or replace to fix this freezer which we really need? Thanks for any help ,Dean
