Default Water filling up in refrigerator pan
Model Number: KSCS25FKS02   Brand: Kitchen Aid   Age: 5 - 10 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com
I can't tell what is causing the water pan under my refrigerator to keep filling with water. I don't see any leaks but it sounds like the some mechanism is intentionally redirecting water into the overflow pan. I here a valve "click" water start to move (as if going to the ice maker) but instead going to the overflow pan. About every 6 months this pan overflows and makes a mess of our wood floors. Any ideas what might be the culprit??? THANKS.

I bet the filter on the bottom front of your refrigerator is clogged. So when you use the water dispenser it leaks into the drip pan. Or you have a leak in a hose. Take the bottom front off, and lay down on the floor, and hit the water dispenser and see if it leaks out on the back side of the filter. Tom ********************************************
