Noticed refrigerator really icing up the food and drink. The controls are 0-6 and they were both on 4 for freezer and frig. Now they are both on 1 and the frig is still freezing food and drink, the freezer seems fine.

The frig top shelf is about 30-32F and the freezer is about 3F with both controls on 1.

You know how when your ice tea or lemonade is frozen then you keep tilting the container and all of a sudden it all flies out on the counter/floor, least it is mostly ice.
Thanks.

Most probable problem is a bad damper door assembly. Remove the control panel and check for a jamed damper door. If bad, replace it AP3772850, The new assembly comes with new electronic control. You can remove the damper door cable, jam the door half way open, till the new one comes in.

Now my water filter housing is cracked...

Any idea how to remove that cable that goes to the damper??
I dont understand why there is a cable there. I thought that was the reason for the damper with the motor on it. Thanks.
