Twice now when we used the ice maker water continued to flow after we released the dispenser lever flooding the freezer and the kitchen. If iturn off the water to the unit for a bit when I re open the water it works O K for about a week then floods again. Iv'e been told its either the inlet water valve or I need a whole new ice maker, any ideas how to determine whats going on? Thanks for any ideas.

I'm afraid I did not get clear if the problem is with the ice maker or the water dispenser?

Ice maker is the device located inside the freezer which producing ice cubes.

The water dispenser, as well as the ice dispenser, located on the freezer door and used for drinking water.
