GE Profile, side by side. Model # PSS26PSSASS.

The general symptom is the freezer section does not always stay frozen.
Temperature goes from Zero (set point) up to 40deg. Fridge side goes up to 45 (set at 37).

Defrost cycle appears to be OK. I see the heater light up. Frost melts and drips all way down to pan on bottom.
Compressor comes on about 15 minutes after the heater goes off. Evaporator fan comes on 10 minutes after that.

In normal operation, the compressor appears to come on as does the condesor fan. Evaporator motor does not always come on. A thermometer in the freeezer says 20 or 30 or 40. Temp on the fridge LCD panel says 1. (set to zero)

Typical state - Compressor and condensor fan ON. Evap fan OFF. I openned the freezer door for 5 minutes - still no evap fan (yes, I pushed the door closed button)

Also - the temp on the fridge LCD does not always match a stand-alone thermometer in the freezer. The LCD will be single digits - while the
freezer temp is 30 or 40 deg.

If I unplug the fridge, wait 5 minutes and plug in agin - it appears to start working again for a few hours. But eventually it goes back to not getting the freezer frozen.

I am thinking its either the motherboard, evaporator fan or temp sensor. Anyone have an idea?
