Ive got an electrolux refrigerator that the ice maker will not eject the ice cubes. If I push the switch to advance the motor, the ejector fingers will come around and when they make contact with the ice you can hear the motor load up and then stop. I can tell the ejector arm is then under pressure because it is arching under the tension. I took a propane torch and ran it under the mold to warm it up a bit, turned the switch off which released the motor tension, then turned it back on and the fingers would then go around and eject the cubes. Ive done this several times. It seems to me the mold heater is not working. Anyone have any suggestions about the best way to proceed? Thanks for your time.

I would remove the ice maker from the fridge and check the mold heater (Item 17 in Section 6) for continuity.
if it is open then I would replace the ice maker. last item in section 6 (un-numbered)
