portable ice maker

Model Number: KUIS155HBL0 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years

I have completely cleaned everything in this unit but the compressor doesn't kick in. Is there a relay, switch, etc keeping it from freezing?
It fills with water as it should but no ice.
