Compressor has a hard time to get started
Model Number: MSD 2732GRW Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Hi there,
My Maytag Fridge/Freezer started month ago to have a hard time to start the compressor. The overload humming comes on, I shut it off. After about 10 minutes I put power back on, and it starts right over and does it,s job. Any thoughts?

Remove the start device from the compressor and see if it rattles.
If it does then the start device has to be replaced. In order to provide the right part number I need the serial number of the fridge. Gene.
