Unhappy no water in icetray
Model Number: KSRB25FRBXOO   Brand: Kitchen Aid   Age: 1 - 5 years

No water flowing to ice tray. The ice maker works when I put water in the tray. Water dispenser in door works. Where do I begin to check for freezing in the line? Most of the tubing is covered. Do I have to pull the refridgerator away from the wall? Is the water valve for the ice maker in the back? I would love to have a diagram of the parts and their loactions.

Open the freezer door and view the "status" LED on the right side.

Press in the emitter flapper door on the left side to unblock the optics beam and view the "status" LED.

Post you findings.

Gene.

Next step:

Remove the ice maker and check the water feeding tube for freezing.

If it's frozen, defrost it using a hair dryer.

If it's frozen, then the water inlet valve has to be replaced.

- The part number for the water inlet valve is AP3160649
