GE ice maker problem

Ice maker works fine, but ice accumulates on top of paddle and must also drip into ice storage bin. This causes the individual ice cubes to be fused together which I have to remove from bin. The water that freezes on top of paddle also has to be removed as it restricts its movement. Any ideas??:)
