I have a refrigerator/freezer with the freezer on the top. It is a stainless steel model. It has been a good refrigerator, but within the last few days, the freezer door has developed an irritating squeak on the bottom of the door. Now this is the dual freezer/refrigerator door hinge. It does not make the noise when the refrigerator door opens and closes, only the freezer door. I was thinking about WD40, but I know that this can actually gum up some bearings. Also, it doesn't squeak every time the door opens, but it is getting more frequent.
