The ice maker stopped making ice about three days ago after I emptied all of the ice out of the bin. There was frozen ice in the maker and the rubber tube that dispenses the water was not frozen. I've turned off the ice maker, waited, then turned it back on and nothing happended. I poured hot water into the tray, melted all of the ice and removed all of the water in the tray. There is ice in the tray now, not sure how it got there, but does not dispense. I tried unplugging the appliance for 20 minutes and then plugging it in, to no avail. The people at whirlpool could only trouble shoot a stuck piece of ice and had no other suggetions.
