Water dripping from hooded area at top/rear of refrigerator section. Freezer compartment is located just above this. Believe heater is faulty but not sure how to install. Parts illustration diagram on your site shows heater but not sure how to get to it. What do I have to do to expose it for removal and replacement? The dripping follows the defrost cycle. There is no ice maker.

Pull the freezer panels out, you probably have a frozen drain, I use a turkey baster and hot water to clear. You can add a drain heater by sticking a 12 gauge wire from the heater to the drain.

I beleive the heater is broken. I have a new one (about 18 inches in width) but do not know how to install. Does it go in freezer section or main refrigerator? This web site shows the heater in an illustrated parts breakdown but can't tell where it goes and what I have to remove to get to it. This model has a top mounted frezzer.

Behind the back cover inside the freezer you will find the heater and the drain. Since it is defrosting your heater is working. Check the drain like richappy suggested.
