Had a Frigidaire refrigerator yesterday. Compressor sounded really bad, struggled to run, drew more than 3 amps and rising before the thermal cutout activated. Seems like a victim of varnish buildup. Has anyone ever fixed this by injecting Supco 88. I know it is used on heat pump compressors. Supposed to dissolve varnish.
