Brand new reffrigerator thats been sitting iin the garage for 2 years. Plugged it in, fan works and all the lights work. Compressor cyles on for about 5 seconds then shuts off. Left it plugged in for 24 hours. Never got cold

no but it is in the house with no heat 55 F

If it's warm, it just barely. No vibration in the compressor

Try a new start device AP4433935

If you have a meter, check resistance across the start device bottom compressor pins, if open, confirms bad device, the cheaper ones can rust open.

It works. New start device plugged in and it now works
