My Jenn-Air built in refrigerator (JS42CSDBDA) started icing up in the freezer side, making the fan "rattle". I fixed that problem (ice plug in the hose), but a day later, noticed the control panel was showing -80 degrees (!!) on the refirgerator side and my milk, eggs, and bottled water was frozen.
I have tried to reset, but the temp indicator on the control panel shows readings that are all over the map (-80, -58, -72, etc.) with changes every few minutes.
Do I need a new thermostat or control panel? Is there an error code diagnostic for this model? Can anyone help?
My local repair guy doesn't work on built-ins!!
