Hi my first post. have a side by side Whirlpool; the freezer is working but wont reach temperature; it displays 2 flashing hyphens instead of the temp and the red warning light flashes with the acoustic alarm i it also wont make ice.

The food is not defrosting but is very very slow to freeze; I have unplugged-replugged still the same; noise from it sounds normal; fridge side is fine.

Any ideas folks? Thanks Ian
