The freezer works well. The refridgerator (fresh food) is freezing food. I adjusted the temperature controls and cleaned the coils. My husband tested both thermostats for resistance and got 0 reading for both. With fresh food control at 0 we turned freezer control to 0 and the damper closed. When we turned the freezer control up, the damper opened completely. Since everything was freezing, I took our crispers and saw an opening on the wall that is shared with the freezer. It is about 3" x 5" and I could see styrofoam and the defroster coil (saw it working) Should there be a cover over this hole? I just now put an index card over it to see if it helps.
