[FONT='Calibri','sans-serif']My GE Profile Side by Side approx. 4 years old refrigerator, Model GSC23LSCRSS Ice-maker quit working. The previous ice cubes were frozen solid and rotating fingers/cam would not move. I disconnected the entire ice maker and thawed out the old ice in the tray outside in the room. I also made sure that water inlet in the freezer did not have any frozen water in it by checking with a sipping straw. After it was cleaned and empty, I reconnected the ice maker back but it still does not work. A day later, I noticed green light was blinking and cam/fingers had rotated half way through but still no water or ice in the tray. Can you guide me to next step of trouble shooting please? Obviously, I could not see anything but I did find a 1 1/2 to 2” long plastic/nylon screw at the bottom of pan under the compressor or fan area. No obvious problem with water tubing going to freezer.
