There is water getting to the door but no water getting to the ice maker. The green light on the ice maker is on steady and the unit dispenses ice. It just doesn't make ice. Is there a motor that pushes the water up to the icemaker? A solenoid that isn't opening maybe?

Yes, it's the dual water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in. Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.
