Refrigerator & Freezer Repair

My refrigerator/freezer doesn't dispense ice or water, but the freezer still makes ice. Is it time for a new refrigerator or will it be cost effective to fix? Thanks

Try the dispenser, if when you do the lights dim, fans and compressor cut off the main board is bad. If this does not happen let us know what happens when you try to use the dispenser. Refrigerator repair guide

You were right, the light dims when I tried to use the dispenser. Now my next question is, how hard will it be to replace the main circut board?

It is not hard at all just make sure you unplug the refrigerator before attempting this. It is located on the back about 2 foot off the floor behind a metal cover.
