Hello,I have an Amana refrigerator, bottom freezer, model # AMANA ABL2222FES. I'm pretty sure I have a defrost problem. Is there a way to force a defrost cycle so I can determine if it's the heater? Thanks.

your refrigerator is equipped with an Automatic Defrost Control board or ADC to activate defrost mode open refrigerator door,find the light switch,press and release the switch 5 times within 5 seconds and the unit will go into defrost mode
