Had a power surge and we brought in a tech to investigate. Got a quote for a main control board, compressor and temperature control board for $1200. I see that the main control board is fried but no other apparent damage. Damage is evident with a charred capacitor. Is this worth fixing (the board) or do I just purchase a new board. Also, no other apparent damage to temperature control board or compressor. Suggestions??

thanks
