The defrost timer (#23 on the cabinet break down diagram) is located on the left side under the fridge.

- The part number for the defrost timer is AP2111929

- Here are the break down diagrams for the Frigidaire refrigerator Model FRS26ZRGB0

Good luck.
Gene.

Gene, my defrost timmer finaly came in and looked at the diagram from your reply but no luck. The back of the fridge has no access panel, and at the bottom of the fridge on the back has an opening like the diagram but I see nothing that resembls my defrost timer. I opened the fridge side and took off a plastic housing that covers the tempreture control but still nothing. Would it be on the freezer side behind a panel. Maybe behind the ice maker??? Cause I see nothing where the coils are except for the cooling fan. Thanx for the help.

Did you look behind the bottom panel in the front of the fridge, on the left side?

Gene.

If you mean the "dust cover" on the outside front, yes. If you mean on the inside there is no access panel IN the fridge either. The only other panel that I might be able to get to is inside the freezer section behind the ice maker there looks like a panel. Hope you can understand me..=)

The defrost timer is located at the bottom left corner of the freezer side, in front of the refrigerator. It is covered by the "kick panel" or "grille" which goes along the bottom, front side portion of the refrigerator (you can refer to #72 on the below diagram). The kick panel can be easily removed by snapping out the opposite sides. Hope this helps. Let me know if there's anything else.

Gene.
