Refrigerator with high-pitched hum
Model Number: PSS25NGMDCC Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
Frig makes a high-pitched hum that stops when frig door or freezer door is opened and fan stops. This started some months ago and is slowly getting louder. During this time the damper assembly has been replaced (when freezing was occurring in the frig section) and has had no effect on the noise.
