Evap.fan not running
Model Number: hts22gbmarcc Brand: Hotpoint Age: 5 - 10 years
The freezer is cold but the refrigerator is warm. The evaporator fan is not running. How do I diag. this?

Hotpoint is GE.
I do not know if you saw the following but it has lots of info on this type of problem. GE refrigerators (GS* & PS* models), the evaporator fan motor test and replacement.

I replaced the evap. motor and got a junk mainboard from an appliance repair place, unsoldered the burned resistor and replaced it with one from the junk board. Works great now.
