ice maker quit working
Model Number: KSRB25FKSS03 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years
I would like to know if one end of the heater on the bottom of the ice mold being broken would cause the icemaker to completly quit.

Yes, the circuit has to be completed and the heater has to work to release the ice.
