My Water Dispenser/Ice Maker are both not working. I checked the water & it is on, the hose is not crimped, I bled the line of air, the filter is new. Any ideas?

Our near new Kenmore side-by-side also quit making ice and water. Again, no values shut off, no crimp in hose, new filter. My neighbour swears it's a clogged filter--he says that's the only explanation for it.

If the water filter is more then a year old it could cause such problem. If it is an indicator light for the filter on your fridge? What it shows?
To better help you I need the complete model number of your fridge.
