I have a Maytag side by side refrigerator model MSD2456DEW. Problem is that the refrigerator side no longer cools. Temp. is currently about 60 degrees. Freezer seems to work fine, but airflow to the fridge is non-existent unless, as I found out today you leave the freezer door open. What can be the problem? Would really appreciate any advise to this issue.

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp ..

Thanks woodchuckie will try what you suggested. Now my other question would be at what temperature should I correctly set my Maytag side by side refrigerator model MSD2456DEW. I'm not really sure since I don't have the manual to it. :)
