Whirlpool Ice Maker
Model Number: GD5SHAXLQ02 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a Whirlpool Gold Side by Side Refridg. model # gd5shaxlq02. I am having trouble with my ice maker. It makes ice cubes with no problem. But when I push the dispenser paddle to discharge cubes, the motor makes noise like it is trying to spin the auger to release the cubes down the chute, but the auger does not spin. When I remove the ice bin, I can see the coupling that joins up with the coupling on the bottom of the ice bin. Both look fine - no obstructions. What can the issue be?
