![]() Model Number: 253.77879504 Brand: Sears Age: 1 - 5 years
![]() I am not finding this model in the Database, however it is a simple, over under Frig/Freezer. The frig. starting getting warm, yesterday. I did notice some frost developing on the back/inside freezer wall, and some build up in the vents coming from the back inside wall, where the fan is supoosed to blow the cold air out in to the freezer, and down into the frigerator section. I unplugged the frig, emptied it out, dried everything out, disconnected the Ice-Maker, in order to pull the back panel off on the inside the freezer. Plugged the Refrig. back in, and coils immediatly begin to cool, however the fan attached to the panel I pulled away never starts, dispite all attempts to get to work. When I pulled the panel away, all wiring remains connected, except for the ice maker. Can I assuime my problem is just the fan(motor)? Is there something else that could be keeping the fan from coming on? The frig is under warrantee from Sears. They said sure they will come out and take a look ....Two weeks from now. I would like to do this myself, unless there are too many other possibilities that may be causing the fan not to work. Related Models |
