About 2days ago I started to hear loud clicking and noise comming from thedamper control unit (see Part Number: AP4079111 ), now my fridge and freeze is warm, the bottompart of the freezer and refridgerator is very very silglty cool. with a slighvisible frost.

Does anyone knows if I replace the damper control whith Part Number: AP4079111 which seemquite simple, if this would take care of my problem?

Could it be that a my Damper Control is bad and would cause both therefridgator and freezer to be warm?

ps. The back and the coils under the refridgerator is dust free and as Iusually vacumm the bottom and back at least once every two month or so.

Remove the back panel and see if the compressore is running and the fan running. If everything running and the condenser coils are cool, you have system problems for a pro to look at,

thanks, Richappy. I open the back pannel the compresson is running and is warm (not hot) to touch, and the fan is running, (both running nice a smoothe) the condensor coils are also cool., not hot

I might be wrong but could it be that a bad damper control motor is what is causing the warm fridge and warm freezer? (temp setting is set to max on both fridge and freezer)

What is the purpose/function of the damper control anyways?

Defrost the evaporator coils, then measure the freezer temperature, should get down below zero.
