Model Number: GS6SHAXMB00 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
My refrigerator was not working so I repaired the electronic control board. The fan started working as well as the refrigerator light, contyrol panel light so I throught that the problem was solved. My refrigerator and freeze reads 59 degrees and is not cooling.I checked the compressor and it read 6.5 ohms from s to c and ol from m to c .and across run and start it read ol.I just repaired the board so I am not prepared to change out the compressor at this time.Did I do the test right on the compressor and is it bad.Someone please answer,I have to make a decision to either keep this refrigerator or replace it. It's awhirlpool model GS6SHAXMB00. somebody please help

Check to see if the compressor is getting 115 volts, if not, you missed a bad solder connection on the pc board in the back of the fridge. You can order a new one here AP4334000
