light not coming on in refrigerator or on control
Model Number: GS6SHAXMB00 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Today my light in the refrigerator and on the control went out but I noticed I can cut the blower on/off from the control.I put in a thermometer and I noticed the temp is 49 degrees in the refrigerator part which is higher than normal.I notice there is air blowing in from the freezer but it dont seem as cold as usual.If anyone ever had this problem or know what is wrong I need your help.Thanks

repaired board
I am surprised that no one on this site knew about the control board.I found a small burned spot on the circuit board and repaired it with a jumper,when I put it back in everything worked including the compressor,fan,refrigerator light,temp control lights etc.I am a Biomed tech and electronic tech so it was easy for me but you can be sure that the control board in the bottom of the refrigerator inside a white box can cause many problems when it goes.The control board is very easy to replace.
